June 2025
This month seemed to fly by, but I managed to spend a decent amount of time out with my camera. I mostly spent it in my local area watching and photographing a Barn Owl hunting. I managed to get an image I am really happy with, the Barn Owl gliding past with the setting sun shining through the leaves of the trees in the background. May 2025
May is a busy month for wildlife photography, with spring being in full swing and and animals busy building nests and feeding their young. My biggest focus this month was water voles, a species I have unsuccessfully attempted to photograph for many years. One day a friend told me of a sighting he had in his local area and of course I was straight down, capturing some of the images I have been dreaming about!

April 2025
Spring is in full swing now; brown and dreary landscapes are becoming green and full of life. We have been getting some nice weather this month, an unusually dry April, and I don’t think I got out enough to take advantage of it.
